Panchang (पंचांग) is the traditional Hindu Vedic calendar system based on five elements: Tithi (lunar day), Nakshatra (stellar mansion), Yoga (Sun-Moon angular relationship), Karana (half-tithi), and Vara (weekday). It is used daily across India to determine auspicious timings (muhurat) for ceremonies, travel, business, and spiritual practices.
