01Who We Are

  • Synksha is an India-first AI companion platform accessible at synksha.com.
  • We are based in India and all data is governed under Indian law.

02Data We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, phone number (for OTP verification), hashed password (bcrypt 12 rounds).
  • Profile data: date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and gender — Kundali generation aur matching ke liye.
  • Photos: profile photos, a verification selfie, and palm/face images you upload — for Synksha Match, identity verification, and palmistry / face-insight readings.
  • Match data: your matchmaking profile (city, preferences) and messages you exchange with other members.
  • Conversation data: chat messages and AI responses — SmritiChakra memory ke liye.
  • Usage data: token counts per API call, feature-usage and analytics events, for rate limiting and improving the product.
  • Device data: a push-notification token (Firebase) to send you reminders and alerts.
  • Payment data: Razorpay order/payment IDs and plan tier only. Card ya UPI details hum store nahi karte.
  • Mood / journal logs: daily mood scores (1–10) and reflections if you use Pulse / Journal.

03How We Use Your Data

  • Personalised AI responses using your profile and memory layers.
  • Vedic Kundali, Dainik Darpan, matchmaking, and astrological insight generation.
  • Synksha Match: showing your profile to compatible members, enabling chat, and photo / identity verification for trust and safety.
  • Enforcing plan limits and sending reminders via push notification, email, or (if you opt in) WhatsApp.
  • Detecting crisis signals in chat and providing helpline resources.
  • Aapka data kabhi third parties ko sell nahi hoga. No advertising use.

04Data Storage & Security

  • PostgreSQL on Google Cloud SQL, asia-south1 (Mumbai region).
  • Passwords bcrypt hashed with 12 rounds. All traffic over HTTPS/TLS.
  • Sensitive birth data accessible only through your authenticated account.

05AI & Third-Party Services

  • Anthropic Claude API: chat messages and the minimum context needed are sent to generate AI responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies; your conversations are not used to train their models.
  • Google Cloud: hosting and database (asia-south1, Mumbai); Cloud Vision may analyse palm/face images to generate readings; Cloud Text-to-Speech powers voice features.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): your device token is used only to deliver push notifications.
  • Razorpay: payment processing — we share only order/payment IDs, never card or UPI details.
  • WhatsApp / Meta: if you opt in, reminders and updates are sent to your WhatsApp number.
  • We share only the minimum needed to run these features. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

06Your Rights

  • Access: request a copy of your data via email.
  • Deletion: request account deletion — soft-deleted and purged within 30 days.
  • Correction: update your profile anytime from the Profile page.

07Cookies & Sessions

  • Single session cookie (JWT) for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • CSRF token cookie for security. No third-party trackers or ad pixels.
