01Who We Are

  • Synksha is an India-first AI companion platform accessible at synksha.com.
  • We are based in India and all data is governed under Indian law.

02Data We Collect

  • Account data: name, email address, hashed password (bcrypt 12 rounds).
  • Profile data: date of birth, time of birth, place of birth — Kundali generation ke liye.
  • Conversation data: chat messages and AI responses — SmritiChakra memory ke liye.
  • Usage data: token counts per API call, for rate limiting and billing.
  • Payment data: Razorpay order/payment IDs and plan tier only. Card numbers hum store nahi karte.
  • Mood logs: daily mood scores (1–10) if you use Cosmic Journal.

03How We Use Your Data

  • Personalised AI responses using your profile and memory layers.
  • Vedic Kundali, Dainik Darpan, and astrological insight generation.
  • Enforcing plan limits and sending transactional emails (OTP, payment confirmation).
  • Detecting mental health crisis signals and providing helpline resources.
  • Aapka data kabhi third parties ko sell nahi hoga. No advertising use.

04Data Storage & Security

  • PostgreSQL on Google Cloud SQL, asia-south1 (Mumbai region).
  • Passwords bcrypt hashed with 12 rounds. All traffic over HTTPS/TLS.
  • Sensitive birth data accessible only through your authenticated account.

05AI Processing

  • Messages are sent to Anthropic Claude API. Anthropic's privacy policy applies.
  • We send only the minimum context needed — not your full history on every request.
  • We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

06Your Rights

  • Access: request a copy of your data via email.
  • Deletion: request account deletion — soft-deleted and purged within 30 days.
  • Correction: update your profile anytime from the Profile page.

07Cookies & Sessions

  • Single session cookie (JWT) for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • CSRF token cookie for security. No third-party trackers or ad pixels.
